Analysis of common problems of wooden floors:

① Due to improper use of the wooden floor, the faucet or the heating of the kitchen or toilet runs the water, so that the wooden floor is soaked for a long time, and the wooden floor is swelled and deformed. Because the size of the swell becomes larger, there is nowhere to stretch and can only be arched.

②Continuous rainy weather, the relative humidity in the air is high, no measures to remove moisture, the moisture in the air is absorbed and expanded by the wooden floor.

③ The house is empty for a long time, unoccupied, poorly ventilated. After the medium water in the paint layer evaporates, it will be nowhere to be scattered and absorbed by the wooden floor to absorb moisture and expand.

④The moisture content of the base concrete is too high, and the moisture-proof isolation layer is not sealed and absorbs moisture and expands.

No expansion joints or too narrow

When laying the floor, close to the wall, a gap of 2 cm should be left as an expansion joint, and then covered with a footboard. For the sake of cleanness, some owners do not reserve expansion joints between neighbors when laying wooden floors. Or let the pavement workers keep the seams as thin as possible, which will make the floor unstretchable, easy to arch after absorbing moisture and swell, even if the paint surface is cracked and the structure between the wooden floor and the wall is insufficiently reserved.
